• New Session - Start a new Session
• Open Session - Open a saved Session
• Clear Session - Clear all of the recorded information from the current session
• Close Session - Close the current Session
• Save Session - Save the current session as a file that can be later opened using “Open Session”
• Export Session - Export the current Session data as a CSV file

• Find - Search for text in the current Session or in the selected event

The Tools menu contains a list of the tools available for use in Charles. Please see the tools page for more documentation.

The Window menu contains a list of the open session windows. It also provides access to the Error Log and Active Connections windows.

• Register Charles - enter your registered name and license key to register your copy of Charles and to remove nag screens

• About Java - displays details of the Java version that Charles is currently using on your computer

• Check For Updates - check if there is a new version of Charles available. This can also be done automatically on startup
• Visit Website - open the Charles website in your web browser
• About Charles - show the Charles splash screen
