On Nokia6230i MidpSSH v1.6 fail with error with Writer (Czech Republic, T-mobile)

Solution is to request mobile operator for pdf file with instruction howto setup gprs for this type of telefone

I have 6230i and it doesn’t work (Writer error). Poland, Plus GSM.

Writer error also in 6230i in Poland, ERA GSM. Maybe somebody can configure it in Poland and wants to describe it here?

I have a Nokia 6230i and it works PERFECTLY (Poland, Plus GSM). All you have to do is to activate GPRS (the codes for simplus are here http://www.simplus.pl/v.do?idx=805091. In some cases (simplus) you will have to deactivate roaming first) and to set your profile to “Internet” (You can request such a profile here: http://adminer.pl/gprs/)

I was able to get a telnet prompt from an SMTP server using a Nokia 6030 on the US ATT/Cingular network via the HTTP proxy method. However, no success so far in getting ssh to work. I get a popup error on my phone: “Reader: Error in HTTP operation.” I tried setting the key length to 32, but it did not seem to help. I am using the “transient” HTTP proxy setting and “no” for polling I/O.
